Customer relationship management (CRM) software data migration
Stop Abuse Campaign
The Mission
The Stop Abuse Campaign prevents childhood trauma, known as Adverse Childhood Experiences or ACEs, through evidence-based research, public policy, and public education.
The Situation
To better support its mission and operations, the Stop Abuse Campaign (SAC) decided to migrate to a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This represented a significant data migration effort, requiring all donor data to be reviewed, cleaned, and successfully imported into the new CRM tool before its “go-live” date.
Because the existing donor data had been configured to the specifications of the old system, it required significant processing to meet the new CRM’s requirements. SAC needed a partner to ensure a smooth, accurate transition without disrupting operations or donor engagement.
Solutions Delivered
First, Impactful Insights conducted a thorough cleanup of the existing donor data, addressing inconsistencies, applying formatting standards, removing duplicates, and eliminating unnecessary fields.
Once the data was cleaned, we configured the dataset to meet the technical specifications of the new CRM system, including the creation of custom fields where needed.
Throughout the process, we provided support and expertise to both SAC and the CRM implementation teams, helping ensure a smooth migration and setting SAC up for long-term success with their new system.
